This is the proposed notice for INSIGHT. Hosting, retention and supplier arrangements must be confirmed before the live service collects personal information.
INSIGHT is operated by The Private Office : Real Estate Insight Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 17439613. Our registered office is 1 Park Road, Hampton Wick, Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey, England, KT1 4AS.
For privacy enquiries, contact Matthew Addison Smith, Director, at [email protected], or write to our registered office. Our website is www.theprivateofficere.com.
This notice covers account access, service administration, support and use of the INSIGHT workspace. We determine how account and security information is used. Where an organisation supplies client information for processing on its behalf, its own privacy notice and our agreed data-processing terms also apply.
Information may come from you, your organisation’s account administrator or the provider used to verify your identity. Property datasets containing personal information require an additional source-specific explanation before they are made available.
The proposed basis for providing access to an organisation’s authorised users, responding to support requests and protecting the service is our legitimate interest in delivering and maintaining that service. Where you personally enter a contract with us, processing necessary to fulfil that contract may instead rely on contract. Processing required by an applicable law relies on legal obligation.
Account and authentication information is needed to verify access; without it, we cannot provide a protected workspace. These purposes and legal bases must be checked against the final service arrangements before launch.
You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your situation. Contact [email protected] and explain your request. Any direct-marketing objection will be respected.
The proposed recipients are authorised staff, your organisation’s administrators where needed to manage access, and contracted providers of authentication, hosting and technical support. Information may also be disclosed where the law requires it. The actual providers, their roles and any additional recipients must be recorded before launch.
Hosting locations and any overseas processing are not yet finalised. Before launch, this section must identify relevant countries and the applicable transfer arrangements, including how to obtain details of any safeguards. We do not claim that all INSIGHT information stays in the UK.
The proposed retention criteria are the duration of your organisation’s access, the need to resolve support or security incidents, and any applicable record-keeping or legal-claims requirements. Information should then be deleted or anonymised when no longer needed. The operating schedule for account records, saved work, logs and backups remains to be confirmed before launch.
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your personal information. If consent is used for an optional purpose, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact Matthew at the email above to exercise your rights; we may need information to verify your identity.
You can complain directly to the Information Commissioner’s Office. You do not have to contact us first.
Any profiling or solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects must be assessed and described before the relevant feature launches. We will date revisions to this notice and make material changes clear before new uses begin.
The sign-in flow uses a first-party session cookie. Password recovery sends the email address you enter to our authentication service, Supabase. Authentication tokens are held on the server. The login page does not use browser local storage, session storage, analytics tags or advertising trackers. The server may record ordinary page requests; credential bodies must not be logged.
Your appearance preference is read from your device’s light or dark setting. The moving logos and hover effect run in the page; they do not require tracking or a preference cookie.
The current authentication source defines an INSIGHT session cookie named __Host-insight_session. It contains an opaque session identifier used to associate your browser with server-held sign-in state, including the pre-sign-in and recovery flows. It does not contain your password or the provider’s access token.
Strictly necessary technologies can be exempt from cookie consent when they are essential to a service you request. That exemption must be assessed against the final implementation; the current eight-hour cookie must not automatically be described as exempt simply because it is used for sign-in.
The selected identity provider may use its own cookies on its own sign-in page. Provider selection, actual cookie lifetimes and any persistent-login behaviour must be checked and documented before launch.
You can remove or block cookies in your browser. Blocking a required sign-in cookie can prevent access to the protected service. Any optional technologies needing consent must remain off until you choose to allow them, with a way to change that choice later.
This notice is provided by The Private Office : Real Estate Insight Limited. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
These proposed terms are for review. This local sign-in uses an existing account; it does not create an account, accept a subscription or process a payment. Commercial and data-licensing terms must be agreed before the live service is offered.

Access to the live service is intended for authorised users within an approved organisation. Keep your sign-in details private, use only the access assigned to you and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. Do not attempt to bypass access restrictions, disrupt the service or access another organisation’s information.
Only submit information that you are entitled to use and share for the intended purpose. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information in searches or notes. Responsibilities for organisation data, export and deletion will be set out in the applicable service and data-processing agreements.
Software, branding and supplied information remain subject to the rights of their respective owners. Access to INSIGHT does not transfer ownership. Use, export, redistribution and publication of information are limited by the applicable service agreement and source licences. Do not remove required attribution or use automated bulk extraction without express permission.
Property information and analysis support research. They are not a substitute for checking current records or obtaining appropriate valuation, survey, planning, legal or financial advice. Before acting, check the source, date, coverage and limitations of the information. No particular transaction or investment outcome is promised.
The live service may require maintenance and security updates. Any availability commitments, charges, renewal arrangements, suspension rights and termination procedures must be set out in the applicable agreement. This local sign-in does not establish a service-level promise or a paid subscription.
Liability provisions and the governing law and jurisdiction must be settled in the final service agreement. Nothing in these proposed terms is intended to remove rights or exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Visiting a notice or clicking Sign in on this page does not accept contractual terms.
